Calm and peace
Serenity is only one word to describe the world inside the Sofitel Spa. A lovely scent, which I believe to be a mix of lavender and something herbal, fills my being with calm and peace. The guitar music in the background and bird sounds make the experience complete.
After a warm welcome by my therapist for today I am ushered inside the relaxation area of Sofitel Spa and asked to fill in a few details, to enhance my upcoming spa experience. Accompanied by some warm tea and nibbles, I feel relaxed already. The soft yellow and blue green tones around me definitely contribute to that.
Blissful massage at Sofitel Spa
My therapist seems content with my notes and guides me to the treatment room. Inside, I feel like I float into another world as her hands work their magic. Pure bliss… I asked the lady to focus on my neck and it did feel so much better after the treatment.
After showering, I was offered more tea, which concluded a truly luxurious experience at the spa. I learn once more that beauty is not just skin-deep. Not only did my muscles feel superb after the massage, but I felt that my mind had been nourished at the same time.
It’s all in the details
A spa is just a spa? Not quite so. The Sofitel Spa is special in its own way. Take for example the choices of tea in the waiting lounge, a truly professional therapist, oh and not to forget the soft cooling gel cushion on the massage bed, to rest my face and head on. It’s all in the details, right?!
With their range of Thalgo products from France, this place has made a great choice in offering guests the best what a spa can possibly offer.
Will I come back?
Absolutely! I’ve got my eyes set on the spa and afternoon tea experience for two and I had a peek inside one of the hammam rooms, which look amazing. Bookings can be done by WhatsApp. Handy-lah!
