The Survival Skills Camp is designed to encourage the city kids to learn basic survival skills. This camp encourages the children to learn independence – to learn to care for themselves as well as to adapt to the different living environment with friends from different cultures and backgrounds.
During the camp, the children are taught to set up tents, build a fire, learn to cook simple food as well as basic first aid skills. The children are encouraged to work together in a team to complete task, allowing them to develop good values like compromising, responsibilities and determination.
