The Hilton Kuala Lumpur, in KL Sentral, is the perfect place to put you in the Christmassy mood with its huge selection of festive foods that will be on offer this December.
Just make sure you wear something with an elasticated waist, as you will leave feeling more stuffed than a turkey at Christmas.
Something for everyone at Hilton Kuala Lumpur
I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of what Vasco’s restaurant will be serving ahead of its launch. I can confirm that what is on offer ranges from the tradition roast meat dinners, complete with Yorkshire puddings to the less traditional tacos. There is something to tempt even the fussiest of eaters. The food will take your taste buds to the four corners of the earth, just make sure you leave enough room to sample as many of the desserts on offer as possible.
They even had my favourite mince pie, which is much nicer than it sounds, and I can assure you is not actually made of minced meat.
If you haven’t tried a Christmas buffet before, I can highly recommend the one at Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Fabulous food, a festive spirit and best of all no arguing about who must do the dishes.
When can you go and how much will it cost?
From 1 – 31 December 2023, you can overindulge on weekday lunchtimes between 12 noon and 2.30pm for RM148 per adult and RM98 per child.
On weekends the price goes up slightly to RM198 for adults but stays the same for children and runs from 12noon to 3pm. An extra 30 minutes to gobble some more turkey or tasty desserts!
If you are more of a night owl than an early bird and want to go for dinner instead of lunch, from Sunday to Thursday a festive feast is served from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, priced at RM198 for adults and RM108 for children.
The buffet will be available on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. The prices may be slightly higher during the festive days, so check when you book. Please don’t leave the booking until the last minute, as places are limited and slots go quickly to those that have discovered the beauty of these buffets.
Takeaway dinner and gorgeous gifts
You can also enjoy these Christmas delights from the comfort of your own home, as the hotel offers a variety of prepared Christmas meals with choices ranging from traditional turkey to not so traditional but equally delicious duck and salmon. Perfect for those that like to host but would rather not slave over a hot stove.
And if you are lucky enough to be invited over to someone’s house during Christmas, Hilton Kuala Lumpur offers tasty, sweet treats like cute chocolate Santa’s and snowmen that could melt anyone’s heart.
