Loving and caring is what we do all day, every day. But the 14th of February is the perfect occasion to show that extra love and care for your bestie. Are you into that romantic just-the-two-of-us candlelight dinner, or would you rather try something more active? We’ve got it all for you!
1. Hire a private chef
A great way to avoid the crowds is to hire a private chef, for that candlelight dinner in your own cozy home. You can get in touch with Cuisine Boleh, Eden Daus or Ankita Aggarwal, just to name a few tried and tested options.
2. Go for a couple massage
A late afternoon massage together, followed by dinner somewhere… Sounds like bliss! HealthLand with plenty of outlets in KL and Hammam (Publika and Bangsar) are great options for a massage. As for dinner, please have a look at our date night post here.
3. Ride a Segway in Putrajaya
To feel the wind flowing through your hair, ride along through Putrajaya and have fun together on a Segway. A what? Yes, a Segway! More here in our article.
4. Book a photoshoot for two
Strike a pose… and save the images of the two of you for eternity. Some suggestions for tried and tested photographers to book your photoshoot with are Fernanda Bhutani, Erica Knecht and Kid Chan.
5. Sign up for a PADI course
Take the plunge, dive into the deep together and sign up for a PADI course for two at Big Ocean Dive.
6. Ride into the sunset on a bike
KL takes on a completely different view when you experience the city on top of a bike. There are different tours available (our favourites are the Sunset tour and the Banana Leaf tour). Have fun together, on a bright orange bike with a tour from MikeBikes! More in our review here.
7. Explore Pulau Ketam for a day
Take a 45 minutes drive to Port Klang, jump on a ferry and explore the very instagrammable Pulau Ketam for a day. Don’t miss out on the electric scooters, the colourful quaint houses and the fabulous seafood!
8. Enjoy a different dining experience
Measuring only 6 cm, Le Petit Chef is by far the shortest chef in the world. Let him take you into his kitchen and admire his cooking skills. A must do for two! Have a look at our review here.
9. Take your bestie out for a date night
Where to go? The options in KL are endless. We can help you with some ideas for great hangouts for couples! Have a look at our post here.
10. Have a Sip & Paint party
Whether you’re a Picasso or a true beginner, you can paint your own masterwork with your bestie at an art entertainment class. Sounds like a fab idea! Add a glass of wine to that and a great evening is guaranteed. This event takes place at different venues all over town. More details here.
