Songs for the Season 2016 by Philharmonic Society of Selangor — at DPAC

Traditional pieces including Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite and Handel’s Messiah, to Christmas on Broadway and other seasonal songs – there’s something for the whole family, including the popular sing-along segment of beloved carols and holiday favourites.

Holiday Pops with Julie Desbordes and Joe BurgStaller 

Enjoy your favourite festive melody played by the combined MPO and MPYO, led by the rising French star Julie Desbordes. The performance will also feature a trumpet concerto by the renowned soloist, Joe Burgstaller.

Holiday Activities at Bangsar Village

Christmas events at Bangsar Village – registration needed, forms are available for the Decorate-A-Gingerbread activities at the BV Info Counter. All proceeds from kids’ activities go to BV Kids Charity fund.

Santa will appear every Saturday and Sunday, 1.00pm – 1.45pm and 8.00pm – 8.45pm.


Have A Rogue Christmas at Sunway Lagoon 

Instead of welcoming Christmas with Santa Claus and reindeer, Sunway Lagoon has chosen a modern approach with a Star Wars theme. The kids can try out the games “Star Wars: Commander” and “Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes”. There are also X-Wing and the Rogue One Recon Mission simulators. Catch the Death Troopers for a wefie, test your skills at the Nerf Blaster Battleground and more! And of course, there is the Santa meet and greet, too.

YMCA will arrange a special Christmas Carol performance by members of the public for children with hearing loss and their families, done in sign language, as part of a social project we call #SigningCarols. A world-renown band of deaf drummers called DeafBeat Malaysia will also be performing on that day.

Christmas Story Telling Event at The Bookraft Club

The Bookraft Club is celebrating Christmas with a Storytelling camp for kids aged 4 to 8. Participants will create and distribute presents while listening to Christmas stories by our favourite storytellers. RM120 per child, which includes expenses for the materials and food.
