I had never thought of bowling for kids until a friend suggested it. And they loved it! Although the four-year-olds can hardly carry the ball with two hands and it takes for ever to reach the pins, they had a great time. The youngest did get a bit disheartened at times with the scores.

Many bowling alleys have kids’ lanes with side bars to make it easier for the kids to get their strikes.

Bowling is available at least at U-bowl (in various locations including 1Utama), Wangsa Bowl at IOI City Mall, Berjaya Times Square or Pin Junction at eCurve. We have been to 1Utama a few times now and it’s a great, cheap way to spend an hour or so – one game is enough for my young ones. They also do birthday parties, something to think about!
