Years ago, I had the opportunity to present a tv show whereby I got to review hotels from all over the Klang Valley. And because of it, I interviewed many people from the hotel industry. If there is one thing I can remember of what people have mentioned and sang with agreeable praises, is that the Hilton Petaling Jaya’s iconic Paya Serai restaurant serves one of the best Ramadan buffets.
Inspired by Malaysia’s diverse and unique cultural tapestry and culinary heritage, Hilton Hotels in Malaysia launches a nationwide campaign ‘Jelajah Selera Bersama Hilton’, whereby it calls for all food enthusiasts to not only embark on a culinary journey, but to reminisce and explore the iconic flavours of Malaysia and beyond. And ultimately, to truly cherish quality time with our loved ones, as finally, we are able to meet up with each other, and to embrace the festive spirit together.
More than 150 signature dishes
One can imagine how lucky I felt when I finally got to have a taste and indulged in this legendary spread. What’s more, is to find out that this year’s ‘Kembalinya Ramadan’ theme-buffet dinner features more than 150 signature Malaysian favourites, Central Asian specialties and Western favourites with a twist! I brought my son along to this sumptuous dinner, just so we could celebrate him being out and about after such a long time. With more than 10 action stalls, its signature dishes, prepared with locally sourced ingredients, premium quality meat and seafood, get your palate ready to devour away.
A night to remember
This year’s wide array of mouth watering menu consists of premium dishes such as Putu Piring, Tulang Rusuk Pendek Rebus Panggang, Kambing Golek Tandoori with Biryani Rice, Ayam Belanda Panggang, Kaki Kambing Bakar, Daging Tulang Rusuk Mata Panggang and Biryani Kaki Kambing.
I have no doubt that your dining or buka puasa experience will be the feast of the month. With the combination of the spirit of togetherness and this amazing carefully prepared spread, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously, whilst relishing our taste buds with ease and bliss.
Indeed it was a night to remember! It is 5 stars from both me and my son, as all the dishes that we have tried are nothing short of’ yummylicious’. In fact, our bellys were so full and satisfied that we didn’t manage to try some of them. Mmmph… we must make another trip!
For the durian lovers out there, your wish for the presence of the ‘King of Fruits’ shall be granted through an a Durian Island with more than 10 durian desserts.
