Peppa Pig is pretty much a household name amongst toddlers. Mention the name ‘Peppa Pig’ to any young child and you will most likely elicit an excited response. Fans will be glad to know that there is a brand-new interactive experience and the first immersive fun fair happening at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
The Peppa Pig Happy Day Interactive Play features a multitude of Peppa Pig themed activities for the kids – 15 activities to be exact!
The moment you enter the venue, you pretty much feel like you are stepping straight into Peppa’s world. Peppa Pig songs are playing in the background and Peppa Pig 3D character statues are scattered all over – plenty of insta-worthy photo opportunities. My girls grew up reading Peppa Pig books and watching the cartoons, so we were all too familiar with every character and song, making them feel at ease.
Soft play area
Be prepared to have lots of fun in the colourful ball pit. This area is not only filled with plenty of soft balls, it also has trampolines, a slide and a train – guaranteed to make your child have a good workout. Besides the ball pit, there is also an area where kids can have a bouncy ball race with each other and also an area with soft puzzle blocks where kids can solve the puzzles by putting together the pieces to find the little creatures in the garden.
Interactive play
The interactive video projection activities will have the kids jumping up and down in muddy puddles on a rainy day, have a race with Peppa and her friends, do gardening with Grandpa Pig and play the matching game on the shop’s window. My girls loved the racing game and worked up a sweat – exercise for the day sorted! I have to say the interactive visuals were pretty realistic and definitely brought the world of Peppa Pig to life.
Sensory based play and other games
There is also a ‘sand pit’ area where kids can harvest vegetables in Granny Pig’s garden and a pretend play area where kids can cook in Mummy Pig’s kitchen. You can also play a game of hopscotch and basketball.
Train ride and slide
For little kids (or adults!) who love to go on train rides, you’ll be in for a treat as there is a train here and the rides are unlimited, so you get to go on again and again and again… There is also a ‘hill’ where kids can ride a sled down.
Meet and greet session
After all that play, do not forget to get up close and personal with Peppa or George. There is a meet and greet session during each time slot, so be sure to seize the opportunity to meet and greet either one of them in their ‘living room’ and get that precious photo taken!
