The Orange Atrium at Sunway Pyramid was buzzing with sounds of cheer from the Nike staff and with emcee Adam Lobo’s voice echoing through the Ground Floor. It was the grand opening of the first-of-its-kind Nike community store at Sunway Pyramid Mall, on 24 June 2022.
Nike by Sunway is a new community store concept, designed for the local communities. The store offers a one-of-a-kind space with an exceptional shopping experience for members. In this brand new store, customers are hosted by well-informed store athletes and category and style experts in an innovative retail environment.
A new Nike experience
It was truly a pleasant experience making my way through this new Nike concept store. The Nike staff were very welcoming and immediately came to greet me as soon as I walked in. They briefed us on each section of items on display. Items were clearly displayed, based on gender and category of use. There were men and women running attires, hiking gears, yoga outfits, shoes and sports bras for active women.
Personalised shopping
Nike by Sunway is committed to bring a seamless shopping experience to customers, by combining the digital and physical store with the very best of Nike’s products and highly trained store staff. The store itself is a whole new experience! Female shoppers: you can look forward to personal bra fittings and styling to cater to your active lifestyle.
With the best-of-Nike customer experience in mind, the changing rooms are designed to create a memorable try-on experience. The rooms spaces are donned with elevated mirrors, tuneable lighting and more thoughtful details for the try-on journey.
With something in store for every sports enthusiast, from hiking to running to yoga and sports in general, Nike is well positioned as a sports shopping destination. The store also offers appointment services of in-store shopping, home delivery and curbside pickup where shoppers can collect their gear at designated points within the mall.
All in all, I thought it was great shopping at the new Nike by Sunway community store. With well trained store staff combined with the best of Nike products, it was a very personalised and wonderful experience.
