There can never be too many cafés that serve home baked goodies and welcome children. Run by a group of friends, all mothers, For Goodness Cakes has opened recently in Desa Sri Hartamas. They take pride in their baking and the fact that the food is all made in house, from scratch. There is a good value set lunch, as well as a soup of the day to go with the home baked bread.
We tried out the house special, banana bread, and loved the texture with coconut and the fact that it wasn’t overly sweet. The cake selection changes depending on availability and the inspiration of the baker. Cakes can also be ordered to take away, with a few days’ notice.
And this is what families and lunching parents want to hear: the kids’ corner is bright and well-stocked and on Saturdays they serve a brunch with a kids’ special. They also do catering for parties and are open to customising the menu according to your wishes.
