Bouncy castles are always a big hit at kids birthday parties. I guess if you think about it, what’s not to like? You get to bounce and slide around, climb and crawl through colourful themed inflatables, sure sounds like fun to me! So when I found out about an indoor bounce park, in the heart of KL, spanning almost 10,000 square feet of play space, I knew I had to bring the kids to check it out.
Big Bounce Park is located on level 4 at Avenue K shopping mall. Those that are familiar with SuperPark in Avenue K will have no trouble finding Big Bounce Park as it is situated right next to it. Occupying a big area, it is the perfect place for children aged 2 to 10 years old to enjoy endless hours of bouncing fun.
Get your tickets
Buying the tickets at the counter is an easy process. The staff were helpful and efficient. We went there on a public holiday at 10.30am and although there were a few people in the queue ahead of us, the line moved quickly and we got into the park in no time. Perfect when you have impatient kids wanting to bounce away! You can also prebuy the tickets online.
Klook.comWhat to expect at Big Bounce Park
The park is divided into several themed sections such as Bobby Land, Bobby Adventure, Bobby Slide, Bobby Street and Bobby House. Each area has different themed inflatables ranging from ball pits to play tunnels to climbing walls to slides of different heights. My 5 and 8 year olds loved going up and down the big slide the most (ok I admit, I went on this a few times too and it was super fun!) while the 2 year old enjoyed bouncing around the ball pits and climbing up and down the smaller slides.
There are also VR games scattered around the area, best for the slightly older kids like my 8 year old who did get a bit bored bouncing around after awhile. They also have tables with Lego and colouring materials if the kids need a break from bouncing. There is a play area catered to younger babies with various toys and this seemed to be a popular spot too.
Some useful information
- Price – Single ticket for kids ages 2-10 years is MYR 30 (weekdays) and MYR 40 (weekends). Parents/guardians are charged MYR 10 per pax. Group packages are available and works out to be cheaper so gather along some friends!
- Opening hours – Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 7pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday (except public holidays).
- Playtime is capped at 3 hours (though I’m not sure how they keep track of this as there are no designated time slots upon entry).
- Remember to bring socks, preferably ones with grip as it does get a bit slippery on the inflatables. If you forget to bring socks, fret not. They sell socks at the counter for MYR 6 a pair.
- There are lockers to rent to keep your handbags/valuables so you can bounce around worry free.
- Although there is meant to be a café in the park selling drinks and snacks, the whole time we were there, it was closed. There was only water being sold. However the good thing is that the ticket allows you to go in and out of the venue, so we went out for a short break to grab some snacks and drinks to refuel.
- They can organise birthday parties and there is a designated party area with tables and chairs.
- Big Bounce Park also actively holds events and campaigns like the BOUNCE Camp, with one coming up in February. It is a STEM activity for kids to learn while having fun at the same time.
All in all, Big Bounce Park is the perfect place for children to bounce and unleash their energy while having heaps of fun! The kids were all sweaty from bouncing despite the place being fully air conditioned. That’s how much exercise they got that morning, which guarantees me an early bed time for them! WIN!
We were invited by Big Bounce Park. As always, our opinions are honest and our own.
