Bringing out the beast in you! That’s the slogan of the newest family attraction in KL, Beast Park, located on the 3rd floor of the newly renovated annex block of Sungei Wang.
Beast Park has five areas: Camp5 climbing gym, Beast Junior active playground with a state-of-the-art ninja course, Beast Academy training programmes, Beast Net floating nets and Artisan Roast café. With 15-meter high ceilings providing plenty of natural light and fun activities we say this is a perfect spot for the whole family!
Camp5 climbing gym at Beast Park
The rules are the same as at the flagship Camp5 in 1 Utama. In order to use the Camp5 climbing wall you need to purchase a separate entrance ticket. There is not auto belay here so you will need a belayer or climbing partner. Otherwise you can go for their ‘basic wall course’ programme that comes with a climbing instructor. There is a wide bouldering wall here for you to warm up!
Beast floating net
The floating net looks scary at first as it is built in mid air overlooking the escalator below. But once you conquer your fear of heights it is quite fun! Take your phone along here, as it is a good spot for an insta post!
Ninja course
This is an obstacle course that requires speed and strength. We only managed to use half of the course as the other half is yet to complete. This course is catered to children of 8 years and above as some obstacles are a bit higher.
Junior climbing/bouldering wall
This bouldering wall will be operated by glow lights: the light will lead you to your next step. However, at the time of our visit, the glow lights were yet to be installed, but we could use the wall without the lights.
Artisan Café
We are super happy to see a kids’ attraction with proper coffee to keep the parents caffeinated and happy! Artisan café has excellent coffee and they also offer healthy snacks and food.
Beast Junior active playground
This area is yet to be completeted.
Beast Park ticket prices
At time of writing the prices are:

The park is good with older children. There isn’t much for the younger children (below 4) to do as the Junior Ninja course is yet to open. It would be excellent if you are a climber and you can drop off your kids at the Beast park while you climb!
The park is open 10am – 10pm, however, it is closed for children at 6pm. From 6pm to 10pm is strictly for adults only. For more information, head to the Beast Park’s website.
