Korea Tap Orchestra, Korea’s leading professional tap dance troupe, will make its Malaysia debut on 2 November 2025 at 8 p.m. at PJPAC Nero Event Space, presenting their signature show, All That RHYTHM.

Created by the choreographers behind the tap dance–themed K-film Swing Kids (Dir. Kang Hyoung-chul, 2018) — which starred K-pop star D.O. of EXO and American tap sensation Jared Grimes — All That RHYTHM is Korea’s longest-running full-length tap dance show. The production has been officially recognised as an outstanding program by the Korean Culture & Arts Centres Association (KoCACA).

Since premiering in Seoul in 2016, All That RHYTHM has toured theatres and festivals across Korea in both its light and full (live music) versions, drawing more than 50,000 spectators of all ages to experience the magic of this lesser-known yet captivating art form — one that is as much about dance as it is about music.
Yono Lee, seasoned tap dance artist and producer of the show, sums up its unique appeal: “Tap dance is a dance you hear, a music you see: it’s rhythm made visible.”

All That RHYTHM – the show
As its title suggests, All That RHYTHM takes audiences on a lively journey through rhythm itself — from the roots of tap and its deep ties to jazz, to its golden age on screen in the feet of legends such as Bill “Bojangles” Robinson and Fred Astaire, and into new territories spanning classical, pop, and yes — K-pop. With this, Korea Tap Orchestra continues to push the boundaries of tap, bringing it into the realm of gala show performance.

Designed as a family-friendly production, the show is participatory in spirit, inviting audiences to clap and tap along from their seats — or even take the stage role of conductor in the troupe’s one-of-a-kind signature piece, Tap-chestra.

For their Kuala Lumpur debut, the five members of Korea Tap Orchestra will be joined by the Jin Weng Quartet, with a guest performance by trumpet apprentice Caleb Chow. The program will also feature a special appearance by promising tap talents of Dancesteps Studio, enriching the evening as a platform for cultural and artistic exchange.

Coming to Kuala Lumpur for one show only, Korea Tap Orchestra invites you to feel the unique passion, energy, and dynamic rhythms of K-Tap, and to take home unforgettable memories. Don’t miss this rare chance to (re)discover tap dance in a whole new light, straight from Seoul.
Tickets are available on ONETIX.
