Immersify KL: great art experience for the whole family

Immersify KL

Immersive art experiences are redefining the way we engage with art and have been gaining popularity in recent years.  An immersive art experience transports visitors into a dynamic world where visuals, sound, and interactivity blend seamlessly, making them feel like part of the artwork itself. Akin to Teamlabs in Japan and Arte Museum in Korea, we now have a chance to experience it right here in KL, on any given day of the week, all year round, thanks to Immersify KL.

The location

Hosted at The Labs in the ground floor level of Bukit Bintang City Centre, (just situated opposite LaLaport), Immersify KL boasts a 30,000 square feet space with 11 different themed immersive zones, each designed to give you a larger than life experience. Conceptualised in South Korea and exclusively produced for Malaysia, Immersify KL is perfect for visitors of all ages. We can testify to this as we brought the kids along to check it out and we were all left amazed and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

What to expect from the 11 themed zones

With towering 12-meter-high walls and immersive 360-degree spatial sound, each zone at Immersify KL pushes the boundaries of creativity. The moment you step into the first zone (Glowing Garden) where millions of flowers are projected all around, your attention will be captured and you will be excited to find out what the next zone entails (but obviously before taking plenty of instaworthy photos). From Starlight Garden that has hundred or so lanterns hanging in a fully mirrored room, Neon Jungle which features the Malaysian rainforest and its animals, to Illusion Road which offers up a kaleidoscopic experience, each section delivers a truly captivating story.

Some sections were trippy and some were absolutely mesmerising. My favourite zone was the Surreal World where it had screens that span the floor and up the 2-storey-high walls projecting animated pictures that reminded me of magical fairytales. My younger ones enjoyed Canvas Oceania – an interactive zone that lets you colour sea creatures like whales and sea horses and see them come to life across the screen.

Art lovers will also appreciate the “Art Gallery” section, where masterpieces by Vincent van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, and Claude Monet, come alive in a brilliant display that stretches across the floor and the walls, creating a breathtaking visual experience.

Whether you’re an art aficionado or simply looking for a unique experience, Immersify KL promises a journey beyond imagination.

Good to know

Flashless photography is permitted in all zones so be prepared to have lots of Instagram worthy shots. However, if you want to avoid having other visitors silhouettes in your shot then best to go during off peak times.

Immersify KL is open daily from 10am to 10pm. You can buy tickets online or at the counter. Tickets are sold according to time slots so if a time slot is full, you will need to get the next available slot.

Ticket prices start from RM35 to RM68 for individual tickets and family packages start from RM164.

We parked at The Labs parking area but you can also park at Lalaport as it is connected.
