I had never thought of bowling with kids in KL until a friend suggested it. And they loved it! Although the four-year-olds can hardly carry the ball with two hands and it takes for ever to reach the pins, they had a great time. The youngest did get a bit disheartened at times with the scores.
Many bowling alleys have kids’ lanes with side bars to make it easier for the kids to get their strikes.
Where to go for bowling with kids in KL?
Bowling is available at least at U-bowl (in various locations including 1Utama), Wangsa Bowl at IOI City Mall, Berjaya Times Square or Pin Junction at eCurve. We have been to 1Utama a few times now and it’s a great, cheap way to spend an hour or so – one game is enough for my young ones. They also do birthday parties, something to think about!

Love your first pic. KLGCC actually has kids lanes! Have you been?
There was a certain sense of resignation in the air, small boy and a very heavy ball =). No, haven’t been to KLGCC bowling – a great tip, thanks!
haha! Cute photo.. and great tips!! Would love to bring my niece here:D
Berjaya was a disaster. Mismatched shoes to begin with, one comparatively light ball only could be arranged after requests and disinterested people managing it.
Oh that’s a shame! We normally go to 1U, which has always been good, though often busy with bowling events in the weekend mornings.
