Hong Kong Children’s Symphony Orchestra (HKCSO)

This is the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Children’s Symphony Orchestra tour of  Asia in 2017. A wonderful opportunity to showcase this youth orchestra’s performance.  Featuring music from Tchaikovsky, Lalo, Elgar, Sibelius and Mozart.

MPYO & HKCSO Side-by-Side Concert

The Malaysian Youth Orchestra plays alongside the HKCSO for a side-by-side concert.  Another evening of the greats – Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Dvorak –  preformed by Asian youth.

Magical by Youth for Youth

A fundraising concert run in conjunction with ChildAid Asia Fund. An organisation which enables children with artistic potential the opportunity to develop their talents regardless of their economic circumstances.

Traditional Malaysian Dances Workshops in August and September at DPAC.

Children’s picture books are often a child’s first introduction to fine art. Michelle and Li-Hsian, the facilitators of the  Art Discovery Tours for Tots and Kids, conduct interactive reading sessions in collaboration with Kinokuniya KLCC.

Free readings at Books Kinokuniya on 5 August 2017 from 2pm to 330pm and at ILHAM on 9 September 2017 at 1030am to 12pm. Please refer to the poster for more information on how to register.

Arts Beyond Sight feat. Poesy小詩

Arts Beyond Sight is an experiential journey of seeing the creative beauty of Arts without your sight! Visitors will be guided by professionally trained visually impaired guides through a 30 minute journey of touching, smelling, hearing and tasting the beauty of arts – seen from a non visual perspective. This exhibition is suitable for children from 12 years old up.
