Sri Valli Thirumanam Dance Drama

Not a children’s show, but the colourful performance sounds like something older kids would enjoy!

The NLFCS Tan Sri K.R. Soma Arts & Cultural Foundation in collaboration with Tanjai Kamalaa Indira Dance School proudly present ‘SRI VALLI THIRUMANAM’, a dance drama that depicts the story of the handsome Muruga and his antics in winning the heart of the tribal princess, Valli. Find out the real story this June 10th & 11th (7.45pm) at PJ Civic Centre!

With a team of 110 members, this dance drama exhibits brilliant choreography, magnificent music performed by over 60 dancers, complete with colourful costumes, artistic set designs and vibrant lighting.

Free admission. Registration needed and begins from 6.45pm onwards.

La fille du régiment (The Daughter of the Regiment) by KL City Opera

Suitable for older kids, this is an opéra comique in two acts by Gaetano Donizetti, set to a French libretto by Jules-Henri Vernoy de Saint-Georges and Jean-François Bayard. Conducted by Juan Montoya and Concert master, Lim Jae Sern. For tickets, visit www.dpac.com.my or www.ticketpro.com.my

Soul of Shaolin

Direct from Broadway, Soul of Shaolin is a martial arts performance for the whole family. This production stars performers trained in Shaolin kung fu.

Harry Potter and Philosopher’s Stone in Concert

Suitable for 3 years and up.

When: Jul 15, 2017 – Jul 16, 2017

Where: Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

Time: Doors OPEN at 7:00 PM & CLOSE at 8:00 PM

The concert will feature a live symphony orchestra performing, to Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.  Audience will be able to relive the magic of the film in high-definition on a 40-foot screen while hearing the orchestra perform John Williams’ unforgettable music.
